It’s Not Who You Know – It’s Who Knows You

It’s Not Who You Know – It’s Who Knows You

You are the beginning, middle and end of your business. You are your brand. If your potential customers don’t know you, they have no clue about your business. Too many entrepreneurs waste time trying to get “in the know”, schmoozing with the right people, going to the right events, taking pictures with the “gurus” of their field but those gurus aren’t your target market. They are not the ones who will be buying products and services. There’s a big difference between marketing and networking and they are not one and the same.

Networking with like-minded people is crucial to an entrepreneur’s growth level and rate in business. Connections with people who are where you want to be inspire, motivate and teach you. But there’s balance to all of this. What sense does it make to shell out thousands of dollars a year networking when you aren’t making many more thousands of dollars in new and returning business? Your results are in your profitability and if you’re doing a whole lot of networking but are not seeingh a whole lot of profitability, it’s time to do something different with your time.

Reduce the time spent networking and increase the time spent face-to-face “connecting” with your target market. You could be an expert in a field no one’s come close to touching but if the people who need your expertise don’t know that you exist, they have no way of seeking you out and becoming loyal customers. It’s not their job to seek you out and become loyal customers. It’s not their job to seek you out but it is your mission to reach out to them. That can only be done when you shift your mindset from “knowing the right people” and “having the right connections” to being the right person and connecting with people who need to know that you are.

It’s time for you to build a name for your business by building a name for yourself and no one can do that better or with more authenticity than you. You may not have the money to hire a PR firm but who you are, what you’re passionate about and what you’re an expert in is the best PR you could ever have. It’s time to toot your own horn and not just on the Internet. Get out in public. Talk to people. Share yourself with them and, remember, people buy from people they trust. They’ll only trust you if they feel like they know you.…

Parents – Why You Should Avoid Baby Food Storage Containers Containing BPA

Parents – Why You Should Avoid Baby Food Storage Containers Containing BPA

After the birth of a child parents will work their hardest to keep their new family addition safe and secure until they are old enough to fend for themselves. However, when it comes to storing food which they prepare themselves for their baby as they get older can actually prove harmful to their health. There are a number of different baby food storage containers now available on the market but some contain chemicals that are dangerous to their child as they contain BPA (Bisphenol-A).

So why it is so important to avoid containers for storing food for your baby in that contain the chemical called BPA?

Like other parents before you may not realize it but BPA used to create containers in which food can be stored will actually be absorbed by what is contained in them. This is because over time it begins to break down and as a result minute amounts will then leach into what is held in the container. If the food remains in the containers for any amount of time whether days, weeks or months then more of the BPA will then be absorbed by it. Plus it is best to avoid keeping the food in the container when warming it up in a microwave as this will further result in the BPA breaking down more and so being leached into the further even more.

Therefore if you like other parents want to ensure that your baby remains fit and healthy then this is the time to think about buying baby food storage containers free of BPA’s. Today there are only a few companies who provide such containers and one of these is Petite Creations. The storage containers that they provide in which you can put prepared food for your baby are known as Baby Cubes.

As well as not containing any BPA in them these containers are made from polypropylene plastic so don’t contain any phthalates in them. Plus the containers that Petite Creations make use only virgin raw materials whereas other companies prefer to save on the cost of production by using recycled materials. So you can be assured that the baby food storage containers you purchase from this company are made to the highest standard possible. Also you can be assured that they contain no chemicals that could actually prove detrimental to your child’s health.

Yet although these may be free of the chemicals that could affect your child’s health you can use them in a microwave if you wish. However to be truthful it is still far more beneficial to warm the food by removing it from the storage containers first and placing it in saucepan or glass bowl in the microwave. This way you can better control the temperature at which the food is heated so it won’t be too hot when you feed them it.…

Finding the Right Storage Facility For Watercraft Vehicles

Finding the Right Storage Facility For Watercraft Vehicles

All watercraft vehicles are really fun to own because they allow people to have fun on lakes, rivers, ponds, and even in oceans and seas. They can be very expensive as well, so it’s really important to make sure they are taken care of. That being said, it’s equally as important to find the personal watercraft storage facility in order to keep the item safe during the time it’s not being used. That’s why this article will focus on finding the right watercraft storage facility.

One of the most important things to look for when looking for a watercraft storage facility is how safe it is. Many times a storage facility isn’t as safe as it looks. It should be located in a good neighborhood with low crime rates. The storage facility should be able to be locked and only accessed by the person renting the space. It’s also very important to make sure that the jet ski storage facilities have exterior lights that light up at night in order to deter anyone from thinking about breaking into a facility.

Location is important because, as stated earlier, some locations are simply safer than others. However, location is also important for another reason. Some locations are more likely to flood than others, and flooding just so happens to be one huge problem that many storage facility companies tend to have. So, it’s important to find a company that has storage facilities located in an area that doesn’t flood at all. Even though one is storing a vehicle that is used in water, it’s still important to make sure it stays as safe as possible by being put into a space that will not flood.

Lastly, it’s important to find a flexible company when storing a watercraft. Some companies tend to not let people upgrade to a bigger space without some sort of fee and don’t try to do anything they can to help out the people leasing space from them. So, try to find a company that leases space at an affordable price, that takes care of the people leasing from them, and are flexible with the terms. Life can change without any notice, so it’s important to have a company that can change as well when a change needs to be made. I hope this article has been beneficial to those looking for seadoo storage, yamaha storage, polaris storage, or even tigershark storage.…

These four simple steps include a combination of automation and systemization:

1. Categorize your emails. Not all emails need to go into your folder marked Inbox. For example, start with emails that are non-urgent and that you can read weekly.

2. Create a folder in your email. In this example, we’ll call your folder “Weekly Reading”. Click once on your folder marked Inbox. In most email systems, you only need to right click to see a popup window. Click on New Folder and name the folder. Once you implement the next step, any future non-urgent emails will be automatically transferred to that folder.

When you receive an email that you would like automatically routed to the Weekly Reading folder, create a rule that assigns it to that folder. For some email systems, it might be as easy as left clicking once on the designated email you want to transfer to that folder. Then, right click your mouse where you will see a window pop up. Click on “Create Rule” and assign it to that corresponding folder. For instructions on your specific email system, conduct a search on Google. You’ve completed the automation part.

5 Things to Remember When Packing to Keep Items From Breaking

5 Things to Remember When Packing to Keep Items From Breaking

When moving out, packing in itself is a big challenge already. Who wants to uncover broken things anyway? It is frustrating when you’ve taken all the time to pack-up and eventually find out that your fragile items are broken for the reason that they wasn’t packed the right way. The key to successful packing can only be achieved with the right packing techniques and of course with the help of the right storage boxes. Here are some of the most important things that you need to follow when packing your delicate items from breaking.

Wrap items individually. First and foremost when you pack your items, especially the fragile ones, you have to see to it that you wrap each of them separately. You can use bubble wraps or news paper to wrap each of your breakable items. The bubble wrap and news paper will serve as the cushion of every item which you have to provide. If you don’t have bubble wraps and news papers, you can also make use of tissue paper. After wrapping each item, secure with tape so the wraps won’t slip or fall-off.

Categorize your wrapped items. It is important that you categorize your items according to size and kind. It matters that you put like items in the same box. For example, tiny items such as figurines in similar sizes should be categorized as one group, porcelain and ceramics as another group, and larger vases as another. You have to remember that even in packing, you have to be organized not just to get things done easier, but also to protect them.

Arrange like items in one cardboard storage box. Alike things should always go together, in terms of kind, size and weight. After you have categorized your items into groups, make sure to arrange the different items into separate boxes, layering them carefully. This is to be able to distribute the weight of the items evenly inside the box. When items are not of the same weight and size, there is a bigger possibility that some items will be break. If you need to pack large items into individual boxes, then do.

Fill-in the free spaces inside the box. To prevent the items inside from moving while they are being transported, it is better that you put something else in between the spaces to make sure that each item stays in place. You can make use of crumpled news papers, or paper cut into small pieces or cloth, or styrofoam or anything light that would help fill-in the space. With all the empty space filled with something, you need not worry even when the road gets rough because the items inside the boxes won’t move around and bump each other.

Pack the boxes securely. After making sure that all your items inside are intact and well arranged, the only thing left for you to do is secure all the boxes with proper closure. This is to prevent the boxes from opening and spilling-out during transportation.

Packing may take a lot of time and dedication from your end but when you reach your destination with all the things you packed in good condition, it’ll all be worth it. No amount of time can replace your investments. Just give each item enough patience and allow the right cardboard storage boxes to help you out.…
